Micorsoft Corp will give away its Upcoming Windows 10 operating system as a free

upgrade to users of the most recent versions of Windows and Windows Phone, as the World’s largets software company tries to hold onto customers in the new mobile era that has largely bypassed it.

Terry Myerson guy who runs Microsoft’s Operating systems group, has announced last night about Gifts by Microsft Corp this Autumn.

Terry Myerson:

Myerson said-“Obviously this mark of announcement is for good cause, something like this Windows 10 upgrade is available to users of Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 and thats for a limited period (1 year)”.

Well the fact known to million about windows, In the past few decades Windows is featured on roughly 15-20 percent of computing devices including phones and tablets and has largely become irrelevant for many consumerss. Microsoft hopes that by making the software free, it will attract more than 1 billion personal computer users of Windows to run Windows on other devices.

Myerson called “Windows as a Service”since for the very first time,
Microsoft corp decided to give something free and called it as service.

Something little Extra by Myerson:-

*Cortona Voice activated search function which is available only on Windows Phone will now be available on PC desktop.

*Action Centre gonna be really be in Action in Windows 10.

*Microsoft has also updated the Xbox app to play nice with its Gaming Console using Xbox Live gaming network on both Windows 10 PCs and Xbox One.Players will also be able to play games on their PC,streamed directly from their Xbox One Consoles to their Windows 10 Tablets or PCs, within their home.

*Windows 10 Supports Direct X12 application programmin interface to improve better graphics capabilities and efficiency.

Phone or PC,the operating system is Windows 10 and together its Windows family.

Tech Warriors can download the next Technical Preview for Windows 10 on the PC for free in the  next week. Phone users will have to wait till next month.
